Ivan Cortes professionals studied acting at the University Center Theater, UNAM He has worked in film, theater and television in various projects with some of the most important directors in Mexico. Ariel Award nominee granted by the Mexican Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2010 by Backyard. With his project: "The Structure of spontaneity" was awarded the scholarship stage creators in Specialty: Actors Film and Video 2011-2012 issued by the FONCA in Mexico. In 2012 he was part of the Talent Campus Guadalajara FICG, as one of the emerging talents in the region of Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. "The Eye of CreAcción" born during this stage research process.
Escrita y dirigida por Tatiana Huezo, El lugar más pequeño es una historia que habla de la capacidad que tiene el ser humano de
levantarse, de reconstruirse, de reinventarse después de haber vivido
algo terrible. Una historia sobre personas que han aprendido a vivir con
su dolor, en un pueblo arrasado, que se levantó de nuevo gracias a la
fuerza y el profundo amor de sus habitantes por su tierra y su gente. Un
pequeño lugar encallado en las montañas salvadoreñas vestidas de selva y
humedad.
Ganadora de diversos reconocimientos en el mundo, con una impecable factura, ésta cinta es una muestra palpable del cine comprometido y arriesgado que plasman algunos de los cineastas jóvenes de México.
